Product
An adsorbent that acts in minutes.
Powdered activated carbon (PAC) is the milled form of granular carbon — but it behaves very differently. Below 150 microns, the contact surface per unit mass multiplies: dosed into liquid, it captures contaminants within minutes and is then removed by filtration.
Thanks to the hard, dense structure of the hazelnut shell, our powder combines high adsorption capacity with a low ash content. Every batch is tested to ASTM standards.

Applications
Where Is It Used?
Water Treatment
Fast direct dosing for sudden taste, odour and micropollutant loads in drinking and process water.
Gas Treatment
Fine activated carbon dosed into flue-gas and waste-gas lines to capture unwanted compounds.
Food & Oil
Colour and odour removal in edible-oil and food processes, followed by filtration.
Cosmetics
Controlled reduction of colour, odour and unwanted compounds in cosmetic ingredients.
Cat Litter
A finely distributed additive that strengthens odour and moisture control in cat-litter formulations.
Sugar Refining
Decolourisation and clarification of sugar syrups, followed by filtration after adsorption.
FAQ
About Powdered Activated Carbon
What is powdered activated carbon?
Powdered activated carbon (PAC) is activated carbon ground below 150 microns. Its small particle size provides a large contact area for fast adsorption after direct dosing into a process.
What is the difference between powdered and granular activated carbon?
Granular activated carbon is used continuously in fixed-bed filters. Powdered activated carbon is dosed directly into a process, acts quickly and is then removed by filtration.
Which applications use it?
It is used in water and gas treatment, food and oil processes, cosmetic-ingredient purification, cat-litter formulations and sugar refining.
